The Organizing Committee is glad to invite you to the "Second International Meeting on Organic Materials for a Better Future (FUTURMAT2)" that will take place in the Conference Centre Riva Marina Resort, Brindisi (Italy) on September 16-20 2012.

The conference will celebrate the 75th birthday of Prof. Francesco Naso

The Meeting will focus on new organic and hybrid materials (conjugated oligomers and polymers, molecular materials, transition metal complexes, organic-based supramolecular architectures) for applications ranging from optoelectronics to biology.

In particular the second edition of Futurmat will cover:

• Organic optoelectronic materials for solar energy exploitation, with a special emphasis on new generation organic and hybrid photovoltaics


• Electroluminescence, with a special focus on low energy consumption lighting


• Organic electronics


• Organic and hybrid nanostructured materials for bio-medical applications and sensing
